We are recruiting for Lifeguard / Swimming Instructor Jobs
 
The Aquatics Pathway Instructor must have the following essential skills and/or experience:
• Have a genuine passion for teaching and coaching: Enjoying working with people of all ages and abilities and helping them develop their swimming skills.
• Be a strong swimmer and comfortable in the water: Essential for both teaching and lifeguarding duties.
• Possess or be willing to obtain relevant qualifications: National Pool Lifeguard certification is a must, and swimming teaching qualifications is an essential, First aid certification is a desirable.
• Be responsible and safety-conscious: Lifeguarding requires constant attention and the ability to react quickly and effectively in emergencies.
• Be a team player: Willing to collaborate with colleagues and support the overall operation.
• Be punctual and reliable: Essential for maintaining schedules and ensuring consistent service.
• Be adaptable and willing to assist with various tasks: The role includes cleaning and general support duties.
 
Essential Qualifications:
Level 1 or higher swimming instructor qualification
Ability to work to the aquatic activities plan and implement new initiatives in line with the strategic plan
Demonstrated experience of delivering a full swimming pathway from learn to swim to high performance swimming
Quality control of all activities within the swimming pathway
Monitoring progressions through all elements of the pathway with the ultimate goal of ensuring the opportunity for high performance swimming
Experience of delivering learn to swim and school programs * Suggest continuous development opportunities for programs to meet the needs of the users
Deliver the innovation strategy as outlined by the Aquatics Manager for new products to increase revenue income and user engagement
Experience of running aquatics teaching for schools, clubs and public
The role reports directly to the key holder / Management Team
